Creating a body of words to sum up a tremendous, life-altering experience is a brutal task. As you read this, lines and lines have been written and erased in hopes of portraying things to those outside the band they can interpret and understand the reasonings behind. The reality is that that cannot happen in a simple e-mail or news flash.

We regret to announce that this weekend marks the last performances of LUTHER'S FALL.

This FRIDAY, MAY 20 - Pocket's, VA BEACH (Shore Dr.) w/guests (Luther's Fall showtime 11:00pm)

This SATURDAY, MAY 21 - Marker 20 (Blockparty), DOWNTOWN HAMPTON - 10:00pm - 1:00am

The past four years have been incredible. Nothing more needs to be said other than that what we have done as a band is something we are all extremely proud of. We know that this message comes as a shock to you all - our friends, fans, loved ones and supporters - but the time has come for individual change and growth. We hope you'll understand.

Do not consider this as an end. Music is our lives and it will continue without any doubt. The spirit of what the band has stood for lives in the four of us and is too strong to be extinguished. We have lived, learned and grown together. We all love and respect one another and that is what truly counts.

We wish to thank everyone who has supported the band over the years with everything we have. The list is far too extensive to even begin to name names but we know who you are, you know who you are, and we love you! Your support and gratitude for what we do and what we have done is something we will always carry with us. Thanks to all the clubs and venues that Luther's Fall has had the pleasure of performing in, the LF Street Team, all the outlets that have supported our music and the bands we have met and played with along the way. A special thanks goes out to our veterian crew of ground support - Brian, Jennifer, Alyssa, Andrew, Todd, Cody and Dusti - for always going above and beyond the call of duty for us. We have great memories that we will hold forever.

Although we know it is short notice, we look forward to seeing all of you this weekend and are going to make it a few nights to remember.

NEWS: Battle of the Bands + Show THIS Weekend

Well then!

We wanted to thank all the people who came out, cheered and went buck last week at the Jillian's Band Battle finals. Even though it didn't turn out in our favor, no one can deny our sound, passion and intensity, nor can they deny our supportive friends and fans that obviously know what's up. We appreciate all of your love and in no way are we upset by the show last week. We rocked hard from the heart and had the loudest and best support. That's all that counts. Period.

NEWS: Read Me!!!

Great news and happenings!

Last week we won our round of the Jillian's Roots of Rock Band Battle and advanced to the FINALS!

We'd like to share with you some of the comments written by the judges last week:

Originality/Talent: "You definitely have your own sound. Songs are well written and you execute them very well. This music really moves. Nice to hear good vocal arrangements."
Performance/Presence: "Great presence by all. You sell every song. High energy radiates from your stage."
Audience: "Good turnout. Crowd was almost as loud as you were."

The winners of the final round advance to a regional contest held in Memphis, Tennessee! A big part of the judging is based on crowd, so we need you - for real! SO COME OUT!

Hey, it's also Jon's birthday so there is another excuse to come out and party!!! We will find out the actual time the band is performing and e-mail that soon. If it is late and you have to get up early, sneek in a nap before showtime! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! Let's show them HOW WE DO IT!

NEWS: CANCELLATION: Tonic's, Smackwater Jacks still a go!

Unfortunately the Luther's Fall show scheduled for this Friday, April 15 at Tonic's in VA Beach has been cancelled due to a double-booking by the club.

BUT FEAR NOT!

THIS Saturday night April 16 at Smackwater Jacks in VA Beach will make up for it!

NEWS: Radio Broadcast Tuesday!

Hey there kiddies!

LUTHER'S FALL will be studio guests on FM99's "Homegrown" show this Tuesday, April 12 at 11pm. Look forward to hearing some live acoustic numbers, conversation and maybe an old jam or two. We've got some good news to share with you all, so tune in to 98.7 FM and find out what's up! Those of you who live outside Hampton Roads can listen via the Internet at www.fm99.com. NEWS: JASONSTOCK info

Just a quick update on JASONSTOCK this Saturday April 2.

The event is now scheduled to run from 12-9pm with Luther's Fall scheduled to take the stage around 5:20pm.

The event is an ALL AGES show that will be taking donations of $10. This price includes food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and ten bands bringing it all day long.
